Cancellation Policy

CONSULTATION & CANCELLATION POLICY - RAMOS VAZQUEZ LAW. CONSULTATION FEES BY PRACTICE AREA: Immigration Law & Litigation $50; Real Estate & Property Law $50; Civil & Commercial Litigation $250; Personal Injury Litigation Free (contingency basis if retained). FOR IMMIGRATION, REAL ESTATE, AND CIVIL & COMMERCIAL LITIGATION: The consultation fee is payable online or in person and is not required to book the appointment. If you retain Ramos Vazquez Law following your consultation, the fee is credited in full toward your retainer or case costs. If you do not retain the firm, the fee is non-refundable, as it compensates for the attorney's time reviewing your matter. Cancellation Window: cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your appointment. Late Cancellation / No-Show: canceling within 24 hours or failing to appear makes the consultation fee due regardless of attendance, and a new fee applies to book a future consultation. Rescheduling: one complimentary reschedule is permitted with 24+ hours notice, and the fee carries over to the new date. FOR PERSONAL INJURY LITIGATION: consultations are free, with no cancellation or no-show fee at any time. After a second no-show, phone confirmation is required before rebooking. If the firm takes the case, representation proceeds on a contingency basis. ALL PRACTICE AREAS: automated reminders are sent at booking, 24 hours before, and 2 hours before your appointment. This policy is disclosed and must be acknowledged before your appointment is confirmed. Submitting an inquiry or attending a consultation does not establish an attorney-client relationship until a signed engagement agreement is in place.
